Mission and vision at CFI
Dear Students and Alumni,
Lifelong learning is no longer optional.
The modern financial analyst requires a well-rounded skill set that takes time to acquire. Some of the skills are developed in university, where students master the theory of accounting, economics, and finance. Some skills are developed on the job, where analysts learn practical applications and company-specific approaches to analysis. And finally, some of the skills come from experience and developing a strong business intuition.
At CFI, we combine all three skillsets – theory, application, and business intuition – into a condensed, self-paced program that can be taken anytime, anywhere.
We envision a world where anyone can become a world-class financial analyst and have a meaningful career.
By taking CFI’s Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA)® program, you’ll develop the skills you need, from accounting fundamentals all the way up to advanced modeling of mergers and acquisitions.
Our courses are designed to simulate real-world analysis, where analysts have to take raw data, organize it, make assumptions, and arrive at conclusions and recommendations about the best path forward.
At the end of the day, business comes down to decision making under uncertainty. At CFI, we equip analysts with the training they need to perform better analysis and ultimately drive better business performance.
