5 Cs of Credit Overview
In this 5 Cs of Credit course, we will explore the 5 characteristics lenders use to assess the overall creditworthiness of potential borrowers: Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral, and Condition.
We will explain each of the 5 Cs in detail, including:
- The definition of each characteristic
- The importance of this characteristic in the credit application process
- How to access the characteristic using different tools and resources

At the end of each chapter, we will put it all together in a case study. You will read the results of a company’s management assessment, financial analysis, business, and industry analysis, and identify the strengths and weaknesses of this company’s credit.
