Dashboards are a great way to output the results of a financial model. By creating a 1-2 page summary with charts, graphs, and table, an Analyst can clearly explain what the numbers in the model are saying. Common features of a dashboard from a financial model include (1) revenue, margins, and profit charts, (2) cash flow bar charts, (3) balance sheet items, (4) bullet charts showing actual vs. target results, (5) combination of bar and line charts, and (6) data tables show sensitivity analysis.
