Job Responsibilities
- Perform research on a wide variety of topics in the fields of corporate finance, investment banking, accounting and more
- Utilize research to assisting with the creation of financial publications
- Create financial models (discounted cash flows, industry-specific valuations, etc) to support financial publications
- Maintain consistency and professionalism across all financial publications
- Develop a deep understanding of the topic materials
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in business, preferably with a specialization in finance or accounting
- Proven ability to conduct research and produce concise publications
- Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts, such as discounted cash flows and valuation methods
- Financial modeling and valuation experience is an asset
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; Excel power users preferred
- Self-starter with the ability to set and meet objectives
- Interest in learning about capital markets, investment banking and private equity, and accounting
- Finds enjoyment in researching, writing and learning about new things
- Experience with HTML and SEO is an asset
