Ian Christie earned his MBA from McGill University in Montreal, QC and his Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC.
Experience
In the '90s as a high-end Executive Recruiter, Ian became fascinated by deciphering the personal marketing success patterns of business talent. That led him to start his first career business, get acquired, lead a product team for the world's largest career site, write management & executive level career content distributed to millions, transform the MBA career programming as Director of the Graduate Business Career Centre at Sauder School of Business, UBC, and since founding the Bold Career Project in 2002, support the career goals and professional well-being of thousands of clients through career coaching, career services and education.
Outside of work
Outside of work, Ian is an avid student of personal transformation and optimal living, enjoys experiencing cultures through food, and loves to hang out with family and friends here in Vancouver and through travels.
