Education

Prior to joining CFI, Cheryl taught financial modeling and Excel to thousands of finance professionals for over a decade. As VP of AI Training & Content at CFI, she now leads the development of practical, systems-driven curriculum designed to translate real-world finance complexity into skills learners can put to work. She holds an MBA from Wharton, a BCom from McGill University and is a CFA Charterholder.

Experience

Cheryl has served as a Fractional CFO to VC and PE-backed companies across SaaS, healthtech, Web3, and other high-growth sectors. She has deep expertise in FP&A; board and investor reporting; and KPI development and SaaS metrics. Earlier in her career she performed hundreds of valuations across more than 30 different industries at
BDO and subsequently represented creditor committees and DIP lenders on multibillion-dollar restructuring engagements at Capstone Advisory Group. She then served as a Vice President at JPMorgan Chase in the Regulatory Capital Management Office.
