The Financial Analyst hiring process differs from firm to firm, but generally speaking, it consists of the following steps: (1) completing an application with your resume and cover letter, (2) an initial screening process that could include a phone call or video interview, (3) an in-person interview at the office, (4) a final round interview and the office and meeting other team members, (5) reference checks and background checks, and (6) and offer letter and legal contract development. After a financial analyst is hired, they will typically go through an onboarding process as well as training and development (such as the FMVA financial modeling training program).
