How to Use the Investment Banking Pitchbook Template

The pitchbook is meant to be used as an example to build on. It provides the basic building blocks that are included in every presentation and can easily be expanded on. You will get a real-life example of the typical formatting, style, and design of PowerPoint slides in an investment banking presentation.

Recommend steps to effectively use the template are:

• Download the PPT file and save it as a new version
• Update the table of contents to match what your presentation will cover
• Delete and duplicate slides as necessary to build out the content
• Use tables, charts, icons, shares, etc. as examples that can easily be copied and repurposed
• Reformat the master slides with your own brand

Sample Pitchbooks from Investment Banks

If you’d like to see an example of a pitchbook from an investment bank, you can see this example presentation made by Elliott Associates to the shareholders of Iron Mountain Incorporated in 2011.

Another interesting example is a special committee investor presentation made to Dell shareholders prepared by JP Morgan and Evercore Partners.
