What is an Abstract?

An Abstract is a summary of the content that will be presented in an article, book, or other forms of written content. For a scholarly article, it should highlight the purpose of the article, the relevant methodologies used, and the main findings and conclusions of the research paper. The word abstract can also be used as an adjective to describe something that models reality but lacks a concrete physical existence.
